Moshiri has no reason to lie in a video to the fans about being close to securing an investor.

Kenwright lied for years on the basis of "im looking 24/7 but I just can't find anyone" whilst clubs all around us were being taken over.

I also think it's not in Moshiri's, or the club's interest to be seen as proactively trying to sell the club - especially when you're wanting a new manager.

I think that likely makes the most sense. I take his comments on wanting investors with a pinch of salt, given any investor would have to be mental to be willing to give money to our basket case of a board.
