Well I hate to rain on your parade but the stadium isn’t built yet and we still have no idea how it’s being financed or who is going to own it outright in the end. So I’d save your Moshiri gushing for a little bit longer at least.

Wind you neck lad I’m not gushing I just stated facts here pal

The stadium is being built unless your a blind bell, and all I have said is that there worse owners out there than Morshiri.

Mike Ashley being one

As I said, I will wait and see how this unfolds before claiming him as some sort of Persian Father Christmas delivering us a new stadium out of the goodness of his soul with absolutely no benefit to himself.

I do not trust him and do not want him anywhere near this club any longer. I’ve been given no reason to trust anything he says or does. An absolute cowboy.

Someone mentioned a guardian article saying that uk government eyes are cast at Morshiri’s relationship with Uzmanov and if he is still just a front man.

It’s all just hypothetical

Thats the point mate. He WAS the frontman, at arms length, because we all knew/guessed, the endgame was Liverpool Waters. He bought Moshiris Arsenal shares to enable the plan to start. (And then sold them to Kronke).

What you banging on about ?

He owns EFC as an asset and that stadium increases the intrinsic value of his asset the club.

Look at it this way

ENIC bought Spurs for £20m and now it’s worth about Billion and a big part of that is the modern ground they built.

Morshiri has messed up the footballing side of this big style he should have bought in proper footballing people and then taken a back seat

I know

It’s more rubbish printing in the guardian, someone asked what would happen if Morshiri was sanctioned that’s all

So, if Moshiri was sanctioned then the club is put in the hands of trustees and there is a temporary ban on everything until the club is sold? And in that instance, presumably Moshiri gets nothing?

There is too many ifs and buts and I doubt they could establish a direct connection to Russia.

None of this would play out over the summer anyway and won't at all imo. We need the MSP investment confirmed within the next month and to concentrate on transfers and the continuing stadium development.

Dave, they literally got the information from his solicitors

“according to correspondence sent to the Guardian on Moshiri’s behalf.”
It doesnlt say that AT ALL. Go back and read it again: "The Guardian understands that BDO’s concerns led to OFSI being notified about Moshiri, who has hired an expert sanctions lawyer at Peters & Peters – one of the UK’s largest law firms – according to correspondence sent to the Guardian on Moshiri’s behalf".

It's a fishing expedition by a well known Russophobe and Cold War crackpot.

The extent of the qualifications alone should have had anyone reading it rolling their eyes.

If it says 'Simon Goodley' at the top of any article save yourself a few minutes and just dont read it.

If he was to be sanctioned and have his assets frozen my guess would be that Laings would walk off site until a new funding plan was in place.

Again though the thing I keep coming back to is why on earth you would invest in part-ownership of a business with Moshiri. With all this hanging over him? It just takes an investigation to find one concrete link to Usmanov and the asset is seized. I wouldn't want to co-own a caravan in Rhyl with the fella let alone a football club.
