Loads of players signed, finally able to complete with the big guns.
The players we sign turn out to be awful yet many stay on the books for years running their contracts down because any other club wouldn’t dream of giving them huge wages.
War in Ukraine.
Funds basically stopped due to Usmanov involvement.
Stripped of sponsors and money for the new stadium.
FFP charges get brought against us.
We basically sell assets without replacing them, Richarlison, Gordon.
And this leaves us as to where we are now, nobody wants to come to us, we can’t sign anyone and it’s more likely Pickford/Onana and Braithwaite may leave.
Dare I say it… the whole thing has been….. Everton.
