The most alarming thing about that post was re the stadium and nothing being imminent, imo this is a massive priority as we are getting left behind by everyone, and we will soon if not already have the worst stadium in the premier league

I can understand your feelings but I personally would rather wait a year longer if it meant that we could get a much better and more central site. Now that we apparently have some money it may open a few more interesting options for us.

I know someone who has worked with Kenwright before (in theatre) and apparently he's absolutely ruthless when he wants to be. When I asked about him I was surprised (rather naively) to hear that behind closed doors he's a lot different to the Bill we see on TV.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

If that is the case....is it not time for him to pull his finger out and sort out this mess.

Fans want to know who the manager is for next season.

Been thinking about it and feel more and more like Moshiri is putting all his cards on the table this first season. Whether we keep Martinez or get a new manager, they're going to have a tremendous budget. I feel like Moshiri hopes one huge injection of cash will carry us straight into a Champions League spot. Barkley/Stones/Lukaku will probably all be offered huge contracts going into the summer. We'll be going after high profile players offering them massive wages to offset the clubs current position. It feels sort of make or break. Moshiri isn't worth much in terms of other PL owners and a 100-150m injection is a lot for him. Dunno just a thought.

No chance.

The point I was kind of getting at is the Bill Kenwright we see is a lot different to the 'real' Bill. I'm sure he shares the same concerns that we do and is more than likely planning Martinez's impending departure and his successor.

Many years ago, didn't Bill have a massive falling out with his son, to the point of it being unreconciled.

Said the exact same on here a while ago mate. His company is notorious for it in the industry.

Mate of mine know's Bainsey's Dad apparently. His Dad has apparently said the exact same thing. All Luvvy Duvvy in public but quite to the point when it's behind closed doors as you say.

He was proper ruthless when he cried and got his mum on the phone to tell Fergie off for signing Rooney.
