I really hope The Esk's inside information about Mourhino is accurate, it's been comforting to most of us who are desperate for change but it's notable that it doesn't correspond to the papers and betting. That is there've been countless José to Utd stories and he's 1/4 to be their next manager whereas we've had almost no stories and he's 20/1 to be ours. If reliable info is leaking to the Esk it seems strange it's not leaking to the journos as well.

he never said jose was coming, just that he was interested and among the canidates. Mourhino probably is interested in us in case UTD keep LVG or pass on him as he wants to stay in England.

I agree and in fact The Esk has said that on balance it's improbable he'll come here however the impression created is that there's a real chance, if Utd doesn't happen, and a protracted dialogue with Everton is ongoing. My point is that this real chance is not reflected in the media coverage or betting odds and I cannot discern a plausible explanation for this apparent contradiction. Nonetheless, my fingers are crossed.

the media and bookies probably just think UTD is nailed on to happen. As you said any scenario involving him coming to everton will be predicated on him NOT going to UTD

If Martinez is still here by tomorrow morning, I'm genuinely going to start worrying hard about Moshiri's ambition for this club.
If he was going to be sacking during the season he'd have gone weeks ago, it's been apparent since the derby that an end of the season 'dignified' parting of the ways, is what is going to happen.

We could lose 6-0 here and he'd still be leading us out at Sunderland midweek.

We just need to accept that it is what it is. I think he should have been launched minutes after the debacle at Anfield, but I can understand why they're doing it this way, even if I don't agree with it.

I truly get what your saying but what is the big deal about sacking him? Is it because we don't want to be known as a sacking club? The damage this idiot is doing in terms of confidence of our players could see us having to have a complete rebuild job needed.
We have gone from the most promising set of players we've seen in years to a bunch of headless chickens that would be lucky to get in a league 2 side on current form.

it already feels like moshiri has been here years for some reason... the last few weeks havent half dragged on and on and on... we had hope when moshiri bought in, im sure he will be the best thing to happen to us , but christ its felt like a long old process and as of yet NOTHING has happened and there is still weeks to go...

please season, just end will you

That's the problem tho'...it's anything but dignified. And it's costing us a few million in lost Prem places as well as cost us a potential FA Cup win (and thus European football). Then you've got all this unrest among the supporters which wouldn't have happened had there been an announcement.

Looking at Arsenal forums it seems the overriding impression of Moshiri was...not very much. Quiet character who didn't make any sort of waves there. Sure, he didn't have the same kind of stake, but with the lack of official club statements since the derby and semi-final debacles we've got nothing to go on.
