If we use last year's income as a base we can look forward to see how much additional revenue will be generated over the next 5 years to be added to this notional £250 million.

TV & Broadcasting revenues over 5 years: additional £300 million
Improved sponsorship and commercial revenues (at average of £40 million a year): £200 million
Player trading as a result of DoF appointment: budget £100 million surplus
Assume new stadium available in yrs 4 & 5: additional revenues £60 million
Assume naming rights for 2 years: £20 million

That adds up to an additional £680 million. Add in his £250 million investment and there's more than £930 million additional funding available for investment, stadium, wages and squad development.

Add into that long term debt of £100 - £150 million and we've anywhere between £1.03 and £1.08 billion to achieve our objectives. Add in success on the pitch, say CL qualification for 3 years and we can add another £120-200 million to the budget.

This is why I am so excited about our future.

You didn't put the part about when we get relegated.

You obviously know your figures!!!
This forthcoming year is going to be the most difficult. As you've stated previously, we need to sacrifice a top player (stones) to meet FFP criteria with regard to wages. This is largely due to the appalling commercial deals the club is tied into at present.
But what all Everton fans should be happy at is that at long last we have a football man in charge of the club, with a clear vision and business plan to take the club foreword. As you alluded to, this won't happen overnight. However in just 12 months time, we can renogoitate new shirt sponsorship deals and hopefully will have a clarity with regard to our stadium issue. The waters might be choppy at present, but according to your figures calmer waters are definitely over the horizon.

That scenario feels like significantly better than even the most ambitious dreamer could hope for though mate.

So are we getting more blue gravel then?

Honestly doesn't matter how good it will be or your enthusiasm, there are some who unfortunately only see negativity and failure.

Let's give him a chance to succeed or fail before all the doom and gloom.

In what way mate? I'd say (obviously) all of those figures are achievable with the right people in the club. Ambitious figures for sure, but not un-achievable.
Do you realistically think we could get commercial and sponsorship deals up to 40m per annum. They must be something like a third of that at present (I'm only guessing but maybe you know the exact figure).

£40m a season in sponsorships seems very high for what we'll be able to attract.
A stadium after 3 years is (imho) pie in the sky - not to say it won't happen at all, but not in 36 months
£100m player trading is very much on the high end of what we could realistically hope for in the timescale.

Not to mention 3yrs out of 5 qualifying for the CL!!
