Bad decisions and short termism is killing the club without a doubt. If it continues, at some point we'll go down.
He's clueless. He personally is thick as two short planks over football affairs and he hires imbeciles and hands them massive amounts of the club's money to fritter away on rubbish.

But but but he's a billionaire businessman...no he isn't, he's a bean counter who parked money for a dubious oligarch.

He'll destroy Everton if he isn't stopped. Not even joking about that. His much lauded plan if it comes off is to lump this 139 year old institution with a debt in excess of £600M...and people are praising him for it!

Part 2 of the plan is to waltz off into the sunset after selling the club for a big profit post ground move.

Not quite a death spiral - yet

This is bang on the money.

Yet people here behave as if he's Man City's owner. He's not in the same universe.

Exactly. With hindsight it's clear to see that our transfer dealings in the summer were arguably ad- hoc and not part of a coherent strategy.
As I said at the time: it looked like Koeman had lost the plot by the time we were into August without an orthodox attack and he was talking up the prospect of a pop gun attack (or, as he preferred to put it: "wanting to create a situation where goals were spread around the team").

We have upped our top earner wages from the 75k to 150k (& now have lots of them) this enables us to offer better deals than a lot of clubs but funny enough they get about the same income as us... I wonder where the extra money is coming from, or are they withholding? In both cases we are better off.

We wouldn't be bankrupted as it will be long term debt and affordable, however Dave's point that someone comes in and then buys Moshiri's shares is blown out the water as no one is going to give Moshiri 300M + (and even then that wouldn't be much of a profit) when there is 600M to be paid by the club. They would have to buy with their own money as no bank is going to give them a loan based on the assets, as they are already secured against charge 1.

So in fact the debt makes us less likely be ripe for a leveraged buyout keeping us away from would be wolves.
The only sale Moshiri will make is half his stake when Usmanov comes in, I'm fully convinced they will soon run this club together as they wanted to do with Arsenal.

These fella's would be here without any profitable ventures to be made with Liverpool waters, that's just icing on the cake, they want their own successful Premiership football team, that's all that matters, to have the prestige and get to cup finals sitting in the best seats.

Moshiri and Usmanov are not involved in football to make money, they make plenty year on year elsewhere.

Moshiri said at the AGM Everton never have to worry about money while he's here.

Nope we just got relegation to worry about !

why spend 300m when he could have spent 150m instead dave and ultimately see Ashley, Porno barons etc for what a owner whose just interested in max profit will act like.

and ultimately Dave, he will be the sole owner of the club soon anyway, so in essence the clubs money will be basically his, it's not like if he didn't spend the tv money then it'd go to someone else, would just be sitting there as a asset/balance for when he buys out the remaining shares etc

Trust me mate, he's not behaving as a owner just wanting a short termish profit would behave, now does that mean i rate him as an owner because of that, nope, he's looked dangerously out of his comfort/knowledge zone so far and if he doesnt learn fast or usmanov doesnt arrive then doesnt matter what his motives are anyway as he will leave us in a mess he can't spend his way out of.
Dave beats Moshiri with that stick all the time, he's here to milk the club and make money out of us.

Moshiri is here because he loves football, and him and his best mate have had a dream for years of running their own club.

The money to be made in football is utter peanuts to what these fellas have earnt, and will continue to earn from their businesses that have nothing to do with football.

Not Moshiris fault. We were all happy with the Koeman appointment but it didn’t work. That’s where the rot set in ! Mosh sacked him ! Money is available for players as he promised but we can’t find them. Steve Walsh is just stealing a living from the club and fat Sam is out of his depth. Think Sam and his whole team could get booted out here and we need to start again with a whole new management team - and I mean get rid of everybody currently involved except Rhino who is doing a good job ... mosh knows all this and in my opinion will act for the good of the club !

I totally agree he is here for the foreseeable and not to make a quick buck. I was going along with 'even if he sold' type scenarios that he wouldn't make much money off the back of loading Everton with debt and that any incoming party could not take loans against Everton if that was the case. It leaves us pretty secure in my mind.

Please Farhad open your eyes to the utter balloons at the club that are consistently pishing your money up the wall:

Klaassan: £24 million
Tosun: £27 million
Schneirderlin: £24 million
Keane: £30 million

4 players who have been a shambles all season who we'll be lucky to get half of that cash back.

Please sack Walsh and Sam soon as the season is up or I wont be attending GP next season.
