You all think you want a new owner.

But I can assure you, you really dont.

Whoever we get after Moshiri will be a massive, massive downgrade.

Very much, also where would the new owners get half a billion to buy our club ? If they did how would it be repaid ?

Would we like a Glazers model ? Or like that lot who purchased our neighbours as examples. Folk like Carlin need to look at the look at the broad picture and stop living in the past.

The club is for sale for 1 billion.

Aint nobody in the entire world paying 1 billion of anything for this club.

Sometimes, bad owners take their lumps and become good ones, once they hand things over to qualified people. George Steinbrenner was a wretched owner for a long time, until the commissioner's office did him a favor by forcing him to devolve day-to-day operations. FSG had a rather checkered record for a while, across the park. It took Jack Kent Cooke a long time to fully kick on, until he brought in Joe Gibbs.

It's very possible that last season scared Moshiri straight.

Only upgrade on Sir Farhad is an oil gulf state royal.

Anything else will likely be either a tight arse like Ashley/Kenwright who the fans will be up in arms over or some clueless yank consortium who'll either rack us up with loans or bleed us dry whilst being in cahoots with the other scab US owners trying to destroy english football every passing day.

Some dont know they're born they really dont.

Look at that beauty being built down the docks - every penny so far from the owners own pocket.

Unheard of.

Completely disagree.
I want a new owner.
Moshiri has ploughed in lots of money but, until recently when he's allowed his DoF and Manager to take far more (responsible) control of transfer activity than he allowed any of the previous DoFs or managers, he himself was far too heavily involved with his buddy Kia Joorabchian.

He's getting a lot of plaudits for BMD but, the inability to secure external financing has meant he's had no option than to pick up the tab himself.
This is not any form of benevolent philanthropy on his part - it's a matter of absolute necessity to keep the project on track.

And the notion that there are no interested parties/prospective new owners out there with significantly deeper pockets than Moshiri is - with respect - nonsense.

Hes learning from his mistakes.

And he clearly could have got funding for BMD if he wanted, just clearly not on terms he liked.

The world is full of richer people than Moshiri, but look at the clubs in the league, hes 1 of a handfull of owners who invest his own money into the club, doesnt burden it with debt. Hes building us a stadium, hes already invested well over 800m into the club.

So its nonsense to suggest we could do better, utter poppycock if you ask me.

And all this does is bump up the asking price in the long run when he eventually comes to sell, as he looks to make all of this money back twice over. Mad that people think he’s some sort of Father Christmas figure showering us with gifts out of pure love and his end goal isn’t simply to make a profit out of us.

He’s thrown a lot of Usmanov’s money into the hands of incompetent people, it’s been wasted, but Usmanov will absolutely expect that money to find its way back to him.

His end goal is to make massive sums of money from us.

Aint nobody stupid enough to think differently.
