Im not happy at all with some of these home performances, but this is going to take time.
As long as you’ve got Gomes’ Iwobis and a middle of the park completely overrun well always struggle.
Top sides dominate midfield battles in most of their games, Davies (who’s improved a lot), Gomes (who’s regress significantly) aren’t the players who can pull the strings.
Still significant progress, but Christ, Burnley, Fulham, Newcastle, Leeds and West Ham.

They don’t want it. It’s selective with them. Go back to Duncan’s first game where every player chased every ball and worked hard, within two weeks they were back to playing turgid. Same when Carlo first arrived, same with buzz early on in the season. The injuries to our new players kicked in in stepped the old guard and the performances reverted.
