Same when Carlo first arrived, same with buzz early on in the season. The injuries to our new players kicked in in stepped the old guard and the performances reverted.

We keep telling ourselves a player there a player here every window but the mentality under pressure is shocking. Back under Howard's first stint he brought leadership and talent for buttons and we sailed , Philip Carter? I can't tell you if he had an impact or not but there is something missing in this club. Leadership and belief starts from the top, Mosh can't fault him for the dough and commitment but we are missing a sense of identity, vision and courage to make these well paid players be a team.

This has been the story since Martinez second season. Apart from odd big performance. A mid table team until better quality players are brought in.

Well some teams are arsed enough to lift silverware or make Europe. Sometimes money makes the results, but the fans who are not pulling down wedges are in it for the long haul good and bad times.

And if we sprayed the money everywhere would we have a team that believes in the club and the fans or a project?

I hit the ignore button on that lad some months back. Only time I ever have done that on here.
