Qualifying for the Europa League is the aim. If we do that it will have been a good season.

Said before that before the season started 7th would have represented an average season.

I still stand by that - anything higher and the season will have been a good one regardless of anything else.

7th accompanied by two Semi finals would also be a decent season.

Anything lower than 7th and we'd need to win the cup for me to see it as a good season.

What's the aim? Finish as high as possible and try to win the cup.

I suspect the bent system and its venal officialdom will conspire to gift the chavs the FA Cup. And with City winning the COC, 5th and 6th place get Europa next season. Of course if the chavs finish 5th or 6th (likely, given that they play every game with 14 on their side vs the opposition's XI) then 7th place will get Europa as well.
Under such likely scenario, 7th (minimum) is our target. If we don't beat the bubble blowers this weekend, I do not think we will attain that and the season will be a disappointment. Win and I think we will get there and the season will thence be a satisfactory one.
