Anything lower than 7th would be rather poor, even thou we have been lower than that for a lot of the season we shouldn't of been in the lower regions anyway, 6th and a game at Wembley have to say is OK to build from for next season.

There has to be a line to draw in the sand for success and failure. For most people, I expect that would have been at the very least top seven. But 8th would certainly be considered failure by I'd guess pretty much everyone.

at the start of the season if we were offered 8th, a semi final and who knows what in the fa cup, i think most fans will have deemed it defintely acceptable
