Financial Fair Play investigation

As an outsider with a keen interest in Football Finance I'm very interested in this concept as this is the first time that a) A PL club has been charged for a prior season breach and b) The first time a club has been charged with a period that includes the Covid one across the top 2 divisions.

I believe that (BOOOO! HISS! Etc) Everton have a case to answer but otoh I'm questioning some of the PL processes as well.

Why for example did it take so many months. The EFL in 2018 who were nobodies idea of a dynamic and skilled organisation managed to charge Birmingham by mid August and refer them by the start of August for accounts that ended June 30th. I can post more.

I think a points deduction is highly unlikely, I expect, if found guilty, the penalty will be a transfer ban or embargo or a European football ban
Ordinarily I'd agree completely. I just have a nagging doubt that the threat of external oversight of league affairs may bring it onto the table.
