Financial Fair Play investigation

Not that it'll happen, but a 6 point deduction we could just about handle.

I dont think we'll get points deductions in any case. A transfer embargo at the worst end of the spectrum for us.

The EFL aren't as arsed about 'the product' as the PL.
What?!? But you promised we weren't getting a deduction!

Now you're saying we are definitely getting one, I don't know I just don't know.

LOL wut?

The EFL dont mess about Dave.

We dont wanna deal with them, they have proper PL envy.
I'm not asking to be judged by them. We'll be in the PL next season.

We wont get a points deduction but I'm saying 'if we did' then 6 points is surmountable with Dyche in charge and we add a goal scorer or two to the ranks.

Bristol City oddly enough. I know a few Everton fans though- so I have sympathy on one level but at the same time am of a mindset of investigate one and investigate all.

Plus this is a very interesting test case.
Oh yes, very interesting indeed, post 50 times a day interesting on a club you have no bias against at all. Just interesting

No idea what our punishment will be, would probably need to see the "charge sheet" first and see what the actual issue is.
Exactly. That doesn't stop the spreadsheet battalion of the death cult projecting ahead with their 10 points deductions though.

No one knows what the charge is
No one knows how hard the PL are going after Everton
No one knows all the possible punishments a commission could use

In short: no one knows.

Not a Liverpool fan.

Let me guess, you believe me to be a Liverpool fan masquerading as a Bristol City fan with an earnest interest in the FFP regulations and the difference between the two divisions?

Not at all, I'm sure you signing up the day this hit the headlines and posting worst case scenarios is pure coincidence. I'm mean it's such an interesting subject, I can imagine many hobbiests take up random ffp cases and post everyday about them

Not at all, its interesting ground.

Disciplinary Commission may just give a fine or a reprimand. Or maybe a soft embargo or a deduction or a suspended deduction they have many tools at their disposal.

We do know what the charge is.

"In accordance with Premier League Rule W.82.1, the Premier League confirms that it has today referred an alleged breach of the League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules by Everton Football Club to a Commission under Premier League Rule W.3.4. The assessment period for which it is alleged that the Club is in breach is the period ending Season 2021/22."

In short we allegedly breached P&S rules for the three combined periods (18/19 +19/20), 20/21 and 21/22.

With this "alleged" breach, does anyone know if the allegation stems from a club or clubs, will this be made known during the hearing.

Or is the complaint made in the name of the PL as an entity?

We know of the threatened legal proceedings from Burnley and Leeds last year.

If particular clubs are pointing the finger, then it should be made known.

Alright here is some good news.

Says Everton are shocked and relaxed basically.

Wait "Publication is Blacklisted" eh??
