Then you're grossly mistaken

We've had years of Bill Kenwright and his lot trying to tell people what they can and can't say or talk about

Enough is enough of that

There’s nothing wrong with us chatting about it in a forum, or talking in pubs and demonstrating how they have appalling ran the club because I, like you, abhor censorship but when someone is posting a ‘forensic’ analysis of the numbers on social media which is being picked up by mainstream media and will be used asa stick to beat the club over the head with, I see no purpose of that.

There’s one thing wanting change at the club and there is a whole host of reasons which can be articulated but another leveraging the claim for change by dredging up the numbers that the PL is focussing on. There are enough independent commentators that can do that. In my opinion the author is not helping matters.

What about the happy clappers.... were they self indulgent too? Saying nothing for years and allowing these clowns to run the club into the ground? Forever saying it's never a time to protest.... Regardless of the outcome of the commision, we will still be hamstrung with debt. If the worst happens and we have a points deduction and are relegated this year or next, it could finish us. No-one is pouring fuel except those responsible for starting the fire.

Jesus did anyone read what I wrote? There are plenty of reasons for wanting change which do not delve into the numbers if you are an Evertonian.

I am an avid supporter of the protests and I want them all out and my posting history supports this. What I am saying is there will plenty of outside scrutiny focussing on the numbers which could see a significant punishment inflicted on the club if found guilty.

In my opinion writing about the numbers only brings more focus in that lamentable area of our performance - if there wasn’t a risk of punishment I would fully support the articles. It feels like they are being written to remove BK, DBB and FM but at what potential cost to the club when mainstream media outlets are picking those articles up.

There’s enough material out there to hang them with, without attracting more attention to a subject on which we are under investigation.

Censorship of that fact isn't helping Everton Football Club

Maguire is what I called him out as: an unprofessional man masqueradng as an academic but who has a massive personal axe to grind. He's personalised this now and for that reason cant possibly be seen as an objective voice on this issue.

Only football supporters with an agenda to undermine Everton in order to get their preferred outcome of a new boardroom - no matter what that would mean for our top flight status - would view that feller as anything other than damaged goods in this discussion.

By protests which have been to my mind successful in establishing that the fan base is not happy with the current Board and the mis management and direction of travel of the club. By reminding all of our proud tradition of top flight status which over the last few years has become increasingly perilous. By reminding all of BKs constant lies and failures and their prolonged absence from matches through misinformation. There has been a lot of this, we keep the pressure on…..we just don’t start to throw appraisals of P&S compliance into the mix whilst the club is under scrutiny for it.

Given that the club or more specifically, individuals working for Bill Kenwright have literally spent years telling people the complete opposite to the truth, and have wilfully misled the fans

Look, I have always agreed with your stance that the three individuals at the top of the club need to be shown the door - I just don’t see how it helps Everton’s cause to keep spouting off about P&S sustainability compliance and how far away we think we were, when we are being investigated for it. To my mind it’s about the most unintelligent thing a supporter could write about when there are so many other sticks to hit them over the head with.

The investigation and independent commission will find what it finds based on the accounts and the evidence. The idea that some articles writing about the evidence of how terribly ran the club is, due to Bill Kenwright and Denise Barrett Baxendale has no impact on that. As "Chairman Bill" said in the AGM 2021, "quality speaks for itself. It is what it is"

If you're worried about that blame the cause, not those writing about it. Or trying to censor them.

Everyone is to blame but Moshiri runs the ship. Buck stops at him. Having said that Kenwright and DBB are dreadful and have completely soured my respect for these “humanitarian” types running the club.

These lawyers on the independent commission won't be listening to or reading about these articles.

They're going to be looking at the first hand evidence.

Its utter pish to think that an Evertonian writing about the terrible state of the business of Everton and how it is being mismanaged is causing Everton to be penalised is nonsense. That is all down to Kenwright and Baxendale. No one else.

How does writing about Everton’s finances help Everton’s cause in defending an allegation from the PL?

Moshiri needs to drop the notion of keeping everything “in house.” Keeping “Evertonians” around in the management side has been a disaster.
