  • The Telegraph know f.a. about this

  • why aren't any other media carrying it?

  • How would it look if the PL demanded and got a points deduction that then relegates us and places us into administration, which would be the likely outcome

There's no news yet, and I suspect when it comes a 12 points deduction won't be the verdict...or even the demand

It sounds it based on our previous form and the assumption that we'll have to scrape the points to stay up this season. And in a normal season it'd be us finished

But look at that league table. Its not easy, but its not impossible.
I’ve taken dog’s abuse for saying there’s no chance we go down. That was with the caveat of no points deduction.

But look at it. The lowest ever points to escape relegation was 34. That would mean that we need 34+12, that’s 46 points. We’re on 7 right now. And we’ve had an easy ish start.
the kick in the guts of a points deduction would also impact morale massively.

Let’s hope the commission don’t agree

Why haven't we been charged by the PL if they want to put a points deduction on the club?

Why has it gone to an independent commission?
They are terrified to set a precedent, if man u or Liverpool do it the would they would never punish them, this way way they can say it wasn't there decision.

I didn’t agree here. I don’t think they’d have published this without it being well sourced. the journalist is of good reputation too.

now that doesn’t mean it’s true, but it also doesn’t mean that they know nothing.

Just going to put this here. But yeah, a 12 point deduction for a tax issue on a stadium, but a tiny fine for trying to ruin football? If this happens I’m done.

...a whisper like tat would have bene all over football journalism. The Telegraph are going with this on their own.

That tells me all I need to know.
