No doubt in my mind we are being punished. My understanding it relates specifically to the 21/22 season where we finished 4 point clear of Burnley with a superior goal difference. For that reason a 3 or 4 point deduction is what I anticipate. We get punished without opening up a can of worms with relegated clubs

It can't be on 1 season.. the rules are based on a 3 year rolling period.

Slapping a club with a 12 point deduction (point deduction is something the PL have never ever done) based on P&S on any club will put off the money sharks putting money into the league.

The brand would be tarnished.

Then there's Man City and their 115 breaches compared to our 1.

Makes no sense whatsoever.

The only issue for me is whether the PL get carried away with the politics of it all - and still I'd only see a suspended points deduction as the outer extreme's of punishment.

The punishment can't be that harsh...because if it is we stand a better than 50-50 chance of relegation.

The whole thing is gathering momentum now with seemingly all the media outlets throwing their two penny's worth in.
It stinks of an inside job with the trickle from the once respected Telegraph sport coming out.
Better bunker down then as we try to fend off the enemy from all angles.

We have about a 1% chance (maybe less) of staying up if we get a 12 point deduction

I'd also say there is about a 1% chance maybe less of us getting a 12 point deduction
