It is quite ironic that our accounting is being questioned considering our owner is a billionaire accountant.
A few months ago - they were supposed to be looking at Moshiri tax affairs & dealings ?
Sure is - separate or linked loans to us maybe ?That's his dealings then.
It's stretching a bit al this though isn't it?I don't have any inside info, but there's a difference between tax accounting and financial accounting.
They could have taken a tax loss/gain in the wrong period financially to make it appear better, but the taxman still gets his money.
Without any other details it's tough to guess.

I agree but our Covid reason is way over the top but the Prem originally accepted our reasons?
As said above: I think this is down to the obvious reason we've been told from day one: regarding spending on players. And the club have played ball on that for the past few seasons.
From the Internet, right away. From the actual thing, probably about a month after lolWhen do we find out?
He is but his money is paper wealth mate, it's stocks, bonds, trusts, money tied up in companies, Farhad is not someone with loads of disposable cash to just chuck at a football club without it impacting his personal fortune, whereas Usmanov does have that sort of money, it's pocket change to him. When the Ukraine thing started it meant all that stopped so we resorted back to the loan method. In the grand scheme of things I'm not convinced Moshiri has put that much in full stop tbh given he borrowed £400m+ from Usmanov to purchase the club in the first place.I agree but our Covid reason is way over the top but the Prem originally accepted our reasons?
Everyone keeps saying our owner is a billionaire so why all these alleged dodgy loans......
Spot onI’ve said this before, but we’re in trouble here because we’re the Goldilocks club that’s just right for making an example of.
We’re big enough for people to sit up and take notice when we’re punished, but not big enough for the vested interests that power the league to care about protecting us.

Hence they may take,ke it out on us a bad Everton That finalie - hoping its just speculation....All along this is the strength (and timeline) of the whole matter:
1/ PL react to the pandemic by allowing greater leeway on spending due to the slow down of the market to nothing
2/ Everton pushed the envelope to the max on that latitude
3/ The PL wore it but served Everton notice enough was enough
4/ Everton complied and reined the spending in
5/ Burnley and Leeds tipping out of the PL sniffed an opportunity to stay up and placed the PL on the spot vis-a-vis legal action for allowing Everton breathing space
6/ The PL kicked it down the road but Leeds and Burnley kept on coming for what they could get
7/ The PL agree to allow an 'independent' body to look at what Everton did
The PL are are on the hook for this too and they know it.
As soon as Matt Hughes and that weird Guardian fella who is obsessed with Usmanov get together for lunch and decide. When do we find out?
