Financial Fair Play investigation

Any idea how long it takes for them to actually tell us the verdict? Also why would there be a delay in delivering the verdict? Have they written it down and put it in an envelope ready for a dramatic reveal or something?

Has Bobble said what he thinks will happen?

Not really from what I've read. Someone said that he mentioned it on his podcast, knows a bit more than most, can't say for legal reasons, and that it doesn't feel like anyone at the club is overly concerned.

Al Myers said the same.

Simon Jordan heard that the PL case put forward is apparently flimsy or at least poor that improved (so even they are making it up as they go along).

Saw the same.

Also, if we win next match and the bottom 3 lose...

...were on 10pts, Burnley 3rd bottom on 4pts

A 12pt penalty leaves us 6pts off safety.

So we need to win the next match :)

Typical early dart on a Friday afternoon

Bit like VAR then. Stitching us up for no apparent reason.

It's uncharted territory for them. We're the guinea pigs.

Fundamentally it's to prove they can regulate their own league without an independent review. Nothing to do with "fairness" or "reputation" of the league.

These fellers fined clubs a paltry £1mill for wanting to leave the league for the European Super League. A far worse crime IMO than trying to prove we've cooked some books

Plus the vulture clubs now just waiting to threaten suing if no action is taken. We may well have that joy to come soon.

….remember going the Irish Derby many years ago with my mates. The big race at the Curragh was on Sunday, so on Saturday we got The Dart from Dublin to Howth. I’d got a tip for one running on Saturday, so all my mates and even people at the hotel backed it. There was a little bookmaker at the bottom of the hill, he said he’d pay us out in Sterling if we backed in punts. We went to a boozer at the top of the cliff.

Anyway, this tip wins easily and I had it in a multiple with 2 12-1 winners. We virtually wiped that bookie out. He didn’t have enough money, so had to pay us in punts. As I walked out the door he said “F Off and don’t come back again”. Happy memories of The Dart. Happy memories of Howth.

So rumours abound we're borrowing so many millions month on month to keep the club afloat, this money has to eventually come from somewhere, what are the chances we're forced to sell Pickford, Branthwaite, Onana and Cal-Lewin in one hit to appease the league and keep the creditors off?

Ironic that we can barely keep our heads above water so we build a new stadium on the waterfront.

Two ways to look at this…
Firstly, that the PL felt they had to act in response to relegated clubs agitating.
or
This has all come from the club who have no idea what they are doing and are incompetent.

I hope to god it’s the first.
