Not seen anyone mention it, but we took a big hit severing ties with Usmanov when it kicked off in Ukraine.

I mean it was all at artificially high revenues, but USM branding was everywhere (Finch Farm, Goodison etc.). Surely we get some consideration for that. From what I gather it was more from an ethical point of view rather than being legally forced to cut ties. It's certainly impacted our finances.

Given the hearing is supposedly over and for what is apparently one breach you'd think it would be quite simple for them to come to a conclusion, you can only assume that there are some ongoing negotiations regarding a punishment.

Wouldn't surprise me if we ended up with a transfer ban, say 2 January bans, and a reduced squad registration for 2 seasons to 21 players.

It was legal though, as USM are sanctioned as well as Megafon, who also sponsored us.
