A few weeks back but;

A points deduction now will kill momentum we've built up. What an absolute joke. Just when I wasn't feeling so negative towards Everton. Guess we will keep on waiting to see what happens in the coming days.

Add to that what of the court action proposed by our relegated fellow clubs last season seeking money from us for getting the drop. It is their own fault they went down should have won more games.

I think we need to brace ourselves now. I reckon the decision won't be that far away. Days.

Looks like industry insiders are getting the nod. Jordan sounded very convincing when he said we're getting points deducted and not a fine - although he did say he reckons it won't be 12 points deducted.

The season could spin off its axis with anything around 6 points. I fear for morale. And no matter what those clubs in the bottom 4 have done so far it;ll be an enormous boost for them to see us drop either in with them again or below them.

This will be the biggest test in the last 3 years or so of relegation haunted seasons and crisis that we've faced yet.
Simon Jordan is no nothing bellend Dave.

No mate. We'd be relegated. Even with 6 points deducted we'd be battling relegation all season IMO and probably be relegated if DCL or Tarkowski gets injured.
No offence Dave. But you have been adamant and telling us all for months and months that it wouldn’t be a points deduction, yet now on the word of Simon Jordan, you think it will be, even though he himself was making sounds about how unlikely it would be following the hearing.

You also said this but are now making out that more than 6 points is going to ruin us.
If we survive this season they can hand us a 10 point deduction for next season.

Two fit attackers and we'll get 50 odd points in this terrible league.

If it was a points deduction I think it would have been announced by now. The longer they leave it the less time/chance we have to make those points up and the PL won’t want to be seen to do that. Many might think the PL will want to do that just because it’s us but that won’t happen.

Also, if they deduct points off us what will they do to City? Relegation to the 8th tier? Close them down completely?

Maybe the PL are waiting for the ESL to be given the nod next month so when City join it the PL can’t touch them because they’re no longer in the PL and they can just relegate us and get Liverpool Council to retrospectively refuse planning permission for the new stadium?

The PL are also reported to be sniffing round the van der Meyde and Drenthe transfers…

You have to hope The Press have not influenced any Panel decision, by saying that report a few weeks ago, which may have been completely false - who knows, but made the panel into thinking they were not doing enough v us. Ive always stuck to a fine only and maybe a transfer ban of say one window, but If that simon Jordan said what he said, after saying totally the opposite a few weeks ago that would seem odd. not that whatever he says either way is right as no one knows
