Fish and chips, it’s what Jesus would have wanted

I’m making Jamie Oliver’s fish pie using his recipe from a few years ago.

I’ve already had some Serrano ham this morning though so god already thinks I’m a sinner.

Being Christian though, it’s his duty to forgive me.

I’m currently enjoying a week off … purposely took the time off to paint the fences, wash the conservatory and power wash the garden … little did I realise Noah would be here for his Easter holidays… todays the first day I’ve managed to get anything done
Barmer....welsh tears still flowing?

Apart from Byrnes’s chippy what’s your go to place for Fish and Chips on this Goodest of Fridays?

For those of us that adhere to our lord and saviour Jesus Christs No Meat Friday policy, what’s your go to order?

Heathens will be banned and cast into the fiery pit for lucifer to have his way with.
That chippy is amazing mate.

Our house.
Will enjoy Aldi's finest beer battered haddock crinkle cut chips and mushies.
My no meat policy will be severely tested as I am off to watch Hull City shortly and last time there I sampled their sausage filled yorkshires with spicy fries and onion gravy.
It was superb and I swore I'd have it again when I next attended.

….we actually had fish & chips last night & treated our son, daughter-in-law and two grandaughters. Pots of curry and mushy peas, all from ‘Jimmys’ (Eaton Rd), we think is top notch. The lady who runs it said they’ll be ‘crazy busy’ for fish & chips on Good Friday.

Got some ‘yellow fish’ (smoked haddock) in the fridge for tea tonight.
Try the natural smoked haddock next time. You'll notice how superior that fish tastes.
