TRANSFER NEWS

Mark Morton

Morton looks like a werewolf out of the Howling (the strange brother of the foxy female werewolf )

And who tf do Norwich fans think they are, moaning about Hendo. If they don't shut their trap I'll give them Van Hesseling the 23rd who they had a few years back and only scored 1 goal against some team whose name escapes me.

Bytheway hard done by. His reputation preceding him. Again.

But Dubes?!?! That Ward is a disgrace!

I think the thing that done it mate is when Vinny chopped the fella from behind, he stole the players leg and just ran off down the tunnel with it

I wouldn't be surprised to see the 3 game ban get upgraded to a 3 year ban.

He doesn’t look happy like

Penned one of his best solo songs after a visit to Carrow Road

Space exploration for nuclear stations
Norwich corrupters, jeweled abductors
Space exploration, excursion to the stars
On a military mission on a military mission to Mars
I'll see you in my star
I'll see you in my star

Solar system bases, the new world order
Lust for space dust, forming galaxy borders
Never seeking new life, only planning war
Sending satellites at new height, satellites to destroy
I'll see you in my star
I'll see you in my star

Space exploration for nuclear stations
Nasa corrupters, jeweled abductors
Space exploration, excursion to the stars
On a military mission on a military mission to Mars
To boldly go where no man's ever been before
Ipswich the new conquistadors
See you in my star
I'll see you in my star

If taking an opponent’s leg as a spoil of war is wrong, I don’t wanna be right

Tbh I prefer his earlier work. Remember when he penned the little ditty about Delia. “She cooks the buns”

I can feel the earth begin to move
I see Hendo hit the groove
And spiral through another game
And I hear Delia begin to say
You are no Vince Bytheway
The past was yours
But the future's Fylde
Wards all out of time

I don't feel too steady on my feet
Been with Hallett on the beak
Puffin pies and garlic bread
Fill my guts and ease my head
Through the early morning sun
I can see her here she comes

She cooks the buns

Have you seen her have you heard
The way she cooks there are no words
To describe the way I feel

How could it ever come to pass
She'll be the first she'll be the last
To describe the way I feel

The way I feel

Have you seen her have you heard
The way she plays there are no words
To describe the way I feel

How could it ever come to pass
She'll be the first she'll be the last
To describe the way I feel

The way I feel

Have you seen her have you heard
The way she plays there are no words
To describe the way I feel

How could it ever come to pass

She'll be the first she'll be the last

To describe the way I feel

The way I feel

Norwich City vs Birmingham City
28th January 2034

=Birmingham result.webp
Norwich could overtake West Brom and sneak into the play-off places with a win against struggling Birmingham City. Ferguson wanted more goals from Matt Johnston with the striker only netting 7 times in 29 appearances. Kendall played it to Richardson who took it past two Birmingham players, played a one-two with Johnston and had his shot saved well by the keeper on 17 minutes. Norwich were caught out on 32 minutes, Roberts found Cunningham inside the box after getting the better of Eddie King and shot across goal into the top right corner, Batth stranded to the spot. Ian Brown was struggling with an injury and had to be replaced by Euan Henderson a few minutes before half time. Norwich started positively in the second half, Finnie had a shot tipped over the bar on 47 minutes. Matt Johnston was replaced by Robbie Greaves to try to salvage something from the match. Elanga was dispossessed by Jamieson but the ball ran to the feet of Neville-Spearritt who slotted low past Batth to surely secure the victory for Birmingham City. Norwich's play-off hopes hang in the balance.

DF: A win today would have put play-offs in our hands and we underperformed. Credit to Birmingham, they deserved it, we were poor in all areas of the pitch. The supporters reaction at full-time tells you the expectancy here but the have to give things time too.

Norwich City vs Southampton
F.A Cup Fourth Round replay
31st January 2034

=Southampton result.webp

Ian Brown was injured for the visit of Southampton so Robbie Greaves came in on the left with Euan Henderson named as a substitute. With Scott Finnie making a last-minute transfer to West Ham, Joshua Hallett started behind Matt Johnston. Southampton were the better side in the opening 20 minutes with Norwich failing to register a single shot. Lapslie cut in from the left and played in De Jonge who thumped the ball into the top left corner to give Southampton the lead. Angel Gomes came on for Jon Foster on the 62nd minute due to the midfielder suffering a foot injury. Kendall took the loose ball on 88 minutes and had space to move into inside the Southampton half, he crossed for Johnston who headed low towards goal and the keeper pushed it out. That was the best chance created by Norwich in this replay and it's Southampton who will go on to the Fifth round to play Chelsea.

Bolton Wanderers vs Norwich City
4th February 2034

=Bolton result.webp

Ferguson returned to Bolton, this time the manager of Norwich City. After a disappointing end to the transfer window losing Scott Finnie to West Ham, Ferguson played Joshua Hallett once again and Angel Gomes came in for Ian Brown on the left. Norwich seemed to have fallen asleep at the back and the ball found its way across the back line and Abrahams slotted low to give the home side the lead on 9 minutes. Eddie King pumped the free-kick into the box from 40 yards, it evaded everyone and bounced in! 1-1! A fluke goal but they all count! Hallett done well to win the ball in the middle and he played it forward for Johnston to chase down, he took it wide and played it back to Matt Kendall who advanced towards the box and launched a left footed shot towards the bottom left corner which beat the keeper and gave Norwich the lead! Richardson took the ball on the right in the awfully wet conditions, he got a lucky deflection off the defender and played the ball to Kendall, he played it forward to Hallett and he tried the shot from outside the box and the keeper saw it late and it went in! 3-1 to Norwich! Two goals in the space of 2 minutes! Richardson was having a great half, he found Hallett in the centre and he smashed a thunderous drive against the bar, unlucky for the 23 year old. Gomes took the corner and Hallett thrashed a volley just wide on 47 minutes, the attacking midfielder was terrifying today. Gomes took the corner on 54 minutes and Bolton were all over the place as Eddie King volleyed in the fourth! It was too easy for Norwich, Richardson played in Johnston who turned the last defender and made it 5-1 on 62 minutes! Incredible from Norwich! It's a great victory for The Canaries and this win puts them into 6th place in the table!
