Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

DOLLINGSTOWN TO CONTINUE REBUILD IN JANUARY

Dollingstown owner and local businessman Wesley Kelly confirmed at the clubs AGM that Henderson and Ferguson will be allowed to continue the rebuilding of the squad in the January transfer window. Plenty of money is available for wages and said the club were in a good position to attract the best talent in Northern Ireland. Wesley Kelly acquired the club 12 months ago and with the club struggling with debt, many of the first team players had to be sold or released from their contracts. Henderson has so far managed with the limited squad he has but his team have been out scouting the country looking for players ready to sign and help the club battle against relegation. Henderson has so far laid the foundation by bringing Duncan Ferguson to the club which is the biggest coup in the clubs history. Henderson has started to build a good scouting network and has a good group of coaches now at the club. The players are fighting for him each week and the younger players are gaining valuable first team experience which the chairman is delighted with. The club is moving in the right direction and the blueprint is there for Henderson to build a lasting legacy.
