Former Everton Centre Forward Duncan Ferguson steps into management.....

Duncan Ferguson is back managing the club he adores and faces his first test against Ange Postecoglou's Spurs who are doing well in third place. It's a surprising managerial appointment for Frahad Moshiri and we are bewildered as to why Duncan Ferguson was brought back to the club. He has won four games out of twelve this season with Inverness CT but he has hardly done enough in management to take on a chalice like Everton who have came close to the drop two seasons running. It's an opportunity to showcase your ability and there's no better time than at 17:30 on Sky Sports. It's Everton in all blue as they get the match under way at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium! Everton started cautiously but allowed Spurs no space inside their half, Calvert-Lewin came deep to get the ball but had no ay past Dier so played it to McNeil who knocked it inside for Doucoure, he passed to Onana and he took the ball wide with a cut back to Patterson who approached the box and his shot was easy for Vicario. Maddson took the ball in space on 29 minutes and played it through to Richarlison who drifted past Branthwaite and Tarkowski but his shot went wide. Spurs were searching for the opener and Porro forced a good save from Pickford on 55 minutes getting a corner. Everton made a change with 20 minutes to go, Mykolenko going off for Young and then with 10 minutes to go, Calvert-Lewin was replaced by Beto. Son took the ball from Davies down the left and got the cross in beating Patterson, Richarlison was too quick for Tarkowski and scored against his former club on 84 minutes with a finish into the bottom left corner. Everton were working for the equaliser and with seconds to go they got a corner, Young put it towards the near post but Richarlison beat Branthwaite, Spurs were able to break but the referee called time and it's three points for Tottenham this evening. It's a defeat for Ferguson on his return but there were some good performances to take away from this result. Ferguson went over to the travelling fans who applauded the effort as they done so well to hang on with just five minutes to go.

DF: It's always disappointing to lose and to lose towards the end makes it harder to get one back. Richarlison took his goal well and we switched off for asecond to allow him the space to convert. We didn't do too badly but we were quiet in the final third and don't really have a lot to complain about.

Booo!

Just spat out my genetically engineered shredded wheat!
It's ... November 2023!

That's now an alternative time line and non canonical. In this timeline, we have to leave the socialist equalitarian society created by Stephen Fry and witness a world in turmoil. In the news I can't even see Nick Cage gave up gunning on camera to cure cancer. And we don't have access to the plutonium to go back in time to ensure that James Corden's old man wore a condom in order to kick start the wonderful sequence of events that led to world peace, unity, advancement and fulfilment as species.

Damn you to hell Corden. Damn you to hell!

You got a SS of our results so far?

I did not expect to read this news today.

Mind you, he'll shift Dele off loan and terrify the independent commission to not give us any points deductions.

Up the effin' caramelos.

Only thing more bizarre would be him taking over at the vegan weirdos Forest Green.

But we can't loan out a player we've got on loan!

Probably just cancel it and he'll go back to Spurs.

Or have we gone back far enough that he's still at MK Dons.

I'm lost.

Do we know what year we are in yet?

I feel like I've used up my lifetimes worth of alcohol and drugs experiments and God's pointed his finger at me and said "macca, STOP! It's time for a reset and I'm going to take you back to October 25th 1985 and you'll have to start this life all over again". "Oh and don't use Plutonium for your time machine yer massive tit"

Can we go back a tiny bit further? Maybe 84 FA cup final.
