"IT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE"

Dover were clearly the better side and the were the first to every loose ball in a very one-sided encounter. Fylde conceded goals from in-swinging free kicks, crosses into the box and a mistake from Morgan Feeney to allow Dover to grab a third as the whistle blew for the second half. Fylde could not get into the game and looked lethargic, weak and beaten. For a team in promotion contention, this was completely disjointed and effortless.

Duncan Ferguson changed his formation and played two centre forwards (Danny Rowe and Oliver Sarkic). Walker gave Salford the lead early on with an effort from outside the box that was not closed down by Ryan East. Danny Rowe was tripped in the box as he tried to get his shot away and after brief hesitation, the official awarded the penalty. Sarkic calmly put into into the bottom left corner with the keeper almost getting a hand to it. If only Fylde could get into half time. Salford whipped in a free kick and Feeney headed the ball towards his keeper who was wrong footed and the ball hit the back of the net. The heads dropped and didn't seem to pick up in thr second half. The best chance coming from Elli Simms who was played in one on one with the keeper and foolishly tried to lob him giving him an easy enough save as he stayed on his feet. A poor decision from the youngster. Parker put the game to bed in the 88th minute when he broke through the Fylde back line and put it neatly past Griffiths who had a day he would almost like to forget.
DF: I'm lost for words, at this point in the season. The lads are letting themselves down. It is completely unacceptable and there are no excuses for this type of performance. With two game to go, we have to win both to even have a minimal chance of a play-off spot. We had a team meeting two weeks ago and everyone said we need to perform better. Well, what happens when they cross that line is, it is over to them. Now, I know these lads well and they are more than capable of scrapping for the result. It's not going our way at present and it is disappointing. View attachment 55017
Fylde must secure all three points when they take on Dulwich Hamlet at Mill Farm.
I’m furious. I’m emotionally invested now. @The Penalty Box Dancer quit the game and restart if we don’t get promoted. Maybe try Tony Hibbert as manager of Bromley this time@JimmyJeffers straight in with the middle finger.
It's been a disaster!
See if you can post the last two games @The Penalty Box Dancer

The buck stops with Ferguson. Out.I'm just as wound up as you. The story goes on with or without Fylde.
I think this season we have missed Andy Bond. He had the work rate, attitude and put his body on the line for Fylde. Stephen Dooley has missed the second half of the season through injury and Ashley Hemmings has done a good job, he's just not on the same level as Dooley. I think player mentality has a lot to do with it. Did Duncan sign the right players? Players like Andy Bond are a one off.
He looked clueless last night. Sat there like boiled haggis chewing his gum like a right numpty. He's had money, he's had time, he has used every possible connection with top level clubs to get talented youngsters in. I'm wondering now about all the ructions behind the scenes over the last couple of seasons with seasoned pros moving away.
I think this guy's found his level, and should push off to the amateur league. 1 dimensional hoof ball who are frightened of the big boys. The Vanarama Davy Moyes.
**** off!
I'm quite proud of that myself! lolThe Vanarama Davy Moyes lol
Who have Maidstone got? Mathematically we can still finish 5th!FYLDE GRAB WIN

Although the only goal of the game came from the spot, it was an improved performance from The Coasters. Already relegated Dulwich Hamlet had little fight when they visited Mill Farm and a good home victory puts Fylde in place for a play-off place.

York were denied a much needed point in the 94th minute. Victory to Gateshead puts York out of the play-off places and Fylde take their place. A massive slice of luck for the under performing Coasters puts a play-off place in their hands with one game left to play.
