Well didn't see that coming, while it was by no means perfect, especially at the back, the stark difference in performance from what we have witnessed all season was clear to see. Excellent first game but the league us what matters. I doubt FL could have wished for a better start
Would Lampard have got the job at that point? I suspect only the unrest made them go with a uniting fans choice. Anyway, early days and there will be some downs, but I think we are happy to watch the manager develop along with the team.

Would say more solid than normal, rather than solid. A few dodgy moments, the move for their pen and Mina going missing just before our 3rd when Toney mis kicked being a couple of example
