Just listened to his interview and I was generally happy and in awe listening to him and how he wants to play and how he’s already bought into us. He’s going to be a fantastic fit for this club. The club got it so wrong over Rafael. ( well moshiri). If you haven’t listened to his post match give it a listen. It was absolutely brilliant and so refreshing to hear. I’m excited for the future. Yes we will get beat at times, but I believe this fella is the right manager to guide us, develop youth and improve our playing style and how we want play. Big game Tuesday.

I wanted him in the summer, how great is it to have a passionate manager on the side lines.

I just really hope the club give him time, because there will be plenty of bumps in the road.

Honestly if he can galvanize the squad, implement dynamic free flowing football while providing clear directives regarding the player's roles I'm willing to be tolerant of poor results. If the performances continue to reflect progression,successful results will be inevitable.

There is huge difference between one week with Lampard and one week with Ferguson.

By the time we had injured coming back the club was in crisis - and handing these jellyfish a crisis to handle was an impossible task for them.

The thing with the Benitez stuff for me (and getting back to Lampard as it's his thread) is that a lot of people are going to set another mnanager up for a fall here because they've sided with these players again in their haste to bury Benitez with the failures of the current season.

Those players - make NO mistake - will get Lampard under the microscope VERY soon.

Benitez buried himself coz he was sh!t at his job.
Simple as that.

Also I’d like to remind you that even the “ good “ start we had . We were lucky , we conceeded first in a lot of our wins and stats will show that teams that score the first goal rarely go on to lose . We have scored the first goal 4 times this season . That is damning and we needed a 30 yard screamer to beat burnley .
His tactics were shocking , sitting back is one thing but continuously doing it even tho you concede first every week is stupid.
He split the fan base , has a history of undermining the owners , pits people against eachother from within the club fails to admit or accept responsibility for failures and is to outdated and stubborn to change his approach.

Please tell me what has you feeling we were heading anywhere with him at the club .

We've needed to adopt this attitude for years. I don't know why we would suddenly do it now but here's hoping.
