Just listened to his interview and I was generally happy and in awe listening to him and how he wants to play and how he’s already bought into us. He’s going to be a fantastic fit for this club. The club got it so wrong over Rafael. ( well moshiri). If you haven’t listened to his post match give it a listen. It was absolutely brilliant and so refreshing to hear. I’m excited for the future. Yes we will get beat at times, but I believe this fella is the right manager to guide us, develop youth and improve our playing style and how we want play. Big game Tuesday.

Oh stop getting yur underwear in a twist eh? He lost numerous balls, numerous bad passes, got Pickford twice in big problems and Lamps specifically instructed both Allan and Gomez whenever Keane got the ball, to get within 10 yards of him and demand the ball.
He also started the move that led to Richy’s goal, think you have your blinkers on if you thought he had a bad game quite frankly, none of them did it was a good team performance

It's funny, when it was all kicking off over Pereira I was wondering why the hell anyone thought Lampard would be any better, given their respective track records. But, since he's arrived, I get a real sense of him fitting in really well. Never cared for the Tory whopper until now, but he gives out a sense of intelligence and humility– an understanding that success cannot be dictated by him, only shaped by him through his coaching appointments, his selections, keeping fans onside...

Dunno. I guess I just think the best Evertonians I know are smart, humble, and ambitious. And he seems to have that mix down.

Vault this for when we've lost 20 in a row this time next year.

A comfortable 4-1 win yet you're a bellend about it. It makes you wonder...

You’ve been peddling this argument for as long as I’ve been posting on here though, despite the players having changed 10 times over. It’s almost as if players who play for mid table teams are inconsistent and can’t be great every week or something. But no, it’s probably more likely that you’re right and every single player we’ve signed for the last 27 years has had a bad attitude, exactly as you predicted.

Never had a problem with the players in the Moyes period, or with Moyes really. I thought Martinez started well but then made mistakes and bought poor players. Since Koeman though I think there’s been a rotten bunch, Coleman Keane Holgate Kenny Davies Siggurdson Tosun have been almost ever present. You can add in a lot of supporting cast like Delph Iwobi Schendierlin etc. they’ve either not been good enough or just haven’t had the application. I want the majority of those players out of the club, I’ve been fairly consistent about that. Yes other players have come and gone but they’ve been the centre of a terrible culture over the last few seasons. I’m not talking about 27 years .

What I find interesting is that the players we've all slagged off for weeks looked like different players against Brentford, I wonder why.
We've seen this multiple times before though. They'll do it for a few weeks, then the same coach career killing garbage returns. For Lampard's longevity at Everton, I'd be wanting to turn over this squad ASAP.

Out of the list of managers i wasn’t very keen on any of them, but now that Lampard is in, I’ve been thinking it does seem a good fit. Young manager who had been a multiple winner as a player but in management he’s done a bit but still has a lot to do to prove himself. He’s also brought a great back staff set up with him. we have a good group of young players for him to work with, i see this type of signing strategy continuing going forward under Lampard, I know it’s early days but the future looks very bright.
