So if we really do have no money to improve. How much grace period does he get before questions get asked? Marginally better than our worst ever manager at present but I'm willing to believe some of that is the hangover from the previous incumbent.

Time to maybe stop looking at the manager and what the manager has to work with. Which in my opinion is an absolutely abysmal lack of quality to pick from. Its actualy embarrassing how many ganes we've played with around the 20 something % of the ball. We could hire any manager in the world and they would still have to send out players with limited ability.
All we can do is scrap in games. Even the games we win seem to be backs to the wall scrappy wins.
It goes deeper than just looking at who's standing on the sidelines. Lampard or whoever it is needs better quality to send onto the pitch.
 
He's got a pre season and a window now, id like for us to return looking like we know how to play the sport, and I would like for him to be a legit coach who can get us playing a proper brand of football, for that to happen a lot of faces need to leave this club, they are experts in failure and we need a rebirth next season.

Exactly and why are they even reporting what Dean Jones 'thinks' -

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “I think there will be a meeting in the coming days to look back on how things have panned out since he came in and what his vision is of turning the situation around.
