Like every other manager before him, no reason for him to leave.

We do poorly and he gets sacked, he points out that he wasn't backed and had richie sold from under him because of how the club was ran before he got here. He also gets a pay off.

He does well, then he has overachieved without being backed and with a crap squad.

I think he understands the fans and their frustrations especially with signings and the board but his job will be on the line if results don't come good.

My biggest problem with him was last season his constant chopping and changing which cost us points early on and we managed just to scrap by with luck, fans and other teams not capitalising on us being so terrible.

If he drills that defence from now until Chelsea, it's one less job he has to worry about especially as he has no time and opportunity to strengthen his midfield and attack in the transfer market.

I hope he heeds this warning now otherwise results will come thick and fast

I’ll be surprised if he hasn’t walked by 01september. His high standards as a player means he can hardly fathom the inability of some of the squad he inherited and their inability to do the simplest things.
Unless he gets 3-4 of the players he wants, I don’t think he’ll stay and him and his staff will scuttle back down south to their families and a probably easier club to manage.

I understand that the squad is poor, it is his job to find a way to get performances from these players though. If he fails to keep us up it can not all be down to a lack of signings. There are teams with equally limited squads who play as a team and get results.

If he's not at least getting backed with the cash he's raised through sales and the expiry of contracts I'd like him to walk, tbh.
