Cant blame him either. Moshiri says we wait for the end of the transfer window but then we already have played what, 3, 4 games? Then the new players need to gel and before you know it any new additions gets playing time in november. Meanwhile even the newly promoted sides have been buying and improving nevermind the top 6. With Benitez and ALlardyce, I can understand they had big nice pay off deals in place and a sack didnt hurt a thing, but Lampard is just building a rep here. Why? He got us saved from relegation. Before he got a somewhat sketchy and thin cv but he will get credited for us staying up even if some results where very lucky. Its the road ahead that will damage him. A few more games with Keane and his owngoal specialism, that might get him to strugle for another job.
