lets have this right - this group of players are on £100k a week in many cases..... did Benitez tell them not to put a shift in? Did he tell Coleman and Keane to defend like they had never played football before???

Lets not get carried away - this team is so soft they can easily slip back into "lets get the manager sacked" mode.

Im made up we have Lampard but im annoyed that the players need someone on them like they do.

Its called a new manager bounce mate - hence why some of us are urging caution as these players have a habit of playing well for a few weeks/months under a new manager before reverting to type!!

honestly, people are wound up by you because instead of showing contrition for your support of the awful previous manager, for some bizarre reason you are inviting more vitriol by doubling down on a variation of an 'its the players!' rant.

I called those cats out same as I'll call someone out for demanding Frankels head the 1st game we lose.

Patience is needed the club needs a rebuild Kevin.

I recall saying I couldn't care less if he was sacked or not about 12-13 or so games in.

I refuse to outright call for a managers head in their first season based on the current condition of the club / squad / FFP problems unless we're in the bottom 3 which we weren't.

You wont call for anyone's head. Rather than just saying how you feel, you come back with crap like "it doesn't matter what I think because we can't afford it as will get deducted points due to ffp" (funny how you were totally wrong about that) or that you couldn't care less either way.

You just sit on the fence (in terms of saying what you actually want or dont want) and make what you think are "edgy" comments.

You "couldn't care less" yet you are still here trying to make out like any success we get now is because of him.

Oh, and you called him "rafatollah", so stop talking out your arse about not caring.

are you saying that its nothing to do with the players??? It absolutely did have lots to do with the players. Its going to take Lampard being on their case to get results
