Alli can take the ball on the turn and run at people and beat them as he did a few times.
Takes time to learn to pass to each other.. quite obviously it’s a skill you need yet our team don’t seem to have it lol
So what you saying lad, on Saturday they did amazing and last night somehow they forgot basic

You poo poo this signing almost every day for a player you have no idea on. Strange behaviour.

I don’t think anyone is suggesting he’s ready we just wonder if he can be worse than Coleman who I suspect, were he not captain, would play less.

If you do a quick search for the number 27 on this forum on posts by you, you write the same thing about this kid A LOT. Maybe change the record.
I absolutely agree with you on that - I want him to get a chance

As for changing the record, what else am I meant to say? That he's going to come in and be a definitive improvement? I can agree with you that he might be, but that doesn't mean that he is. I've seen him play twice at senior level so I can't pass judgment. I'm not saying he's definitely not ready. There's just no evidence to suggest he definitely is either.

Coleman well passed it. Need dropping permanently, was one point when he ran in field and all he had to do was a simple pass long the floor and he chipped it to our player who then had to head it back and they ended up with it

We didn't get 3 number 10s in at all

The El Ghazi move - which was on Moshiri and Moshiri alone - was the one that has scuppered us as it stopped us being able to get another PL loan in
I didnt say it was all Lampard, but AFTER we got Ghazi, he went in for VDB AND Alli. They are all attacking midfielders.

Its all Koeman again, or maybe better said: its all Moshiris Everton again.

Then: Keanes umpteenth mistake cost Benitez his head. Keane sucked last saturday. Keane sucked last night. Keane is a virus that drags down all players around him. Yet Lampard puts him in when he sholdv pressed for a new CB.

It's not really what we want him doing though. We want him making runs behind the defence beyond the striker because that's what he's good at. Get him doing what he's best at first and will improve us and then you can look at him getting his confidence up to run at players etc.

I mean change the record as in stop writing the same thing. Like legit, do the search I mentioned, there’s a whole page of you telling us how many appearances he’s made like we’ve forgotten.

El Ghazi is a winger who has only ever played wide.

We did move for a CB on loan I believe but it didn't get off the ground. But this idea that quality CBs grow on trees and are available in January is a bit mad too.

Look at Newcastle. Spent all window chasing two actual very good CBs from Europe and ended up with Dan Burn. And they had money to spend!

Fine, I won't say anything about him then. Let's hope if he plays he impresses because he's going to need to.

Game against Leeds at home is probably one of the biggest game in my life time.

Like, I don't think not winning on Saturday relegates us as their is still time and games left, but if we don't win that game and make it 1 win in 16 games, realistically can you see this team winning 6/7 games after it?

Looking back on it it was a big mistake to put out pretty much the same team as Saturday against a a team that was fully rested. Started off ok but you could see the energy draining out of them second half and a fresher Newcastle capitalised.

Coleman would struggle against ASM at the best of times but he should never ever be playing two games in such quick succession any more. Gordon is still young and faded badly and Gomes wasn’t at it. Yes, all three played well on Saturday and would have been unlucky to be “dropped” but resting isn’t the same as dropping.

Obviously you don’t want massive changes to the line up but against a team we knew would be full of energy a couple of fresh fully rested players would’ve helped. Hopefully a lesson learned about squad rotation.

I think the first 25 mins or so yesterday they had control. Gray going off hurt us and then Mina going off even moreso. We got the goal straight after but Newcastle knew they could bully us after that.
Don’t get the obsession with Mina, he was awful and I don’t think he injured I think he wanted off the pitch, was playing awful and lucky not to get booked

We started to settle and knock it around. But the minute those players went off and it turned into a scrap...they lost all confidence and didn't know what to do.

Lack of leadership on the pitch defined in that game.

However...if the Skunks can rouse the home team to pull up results, we should be able to do the same. We have too
