well history has shown it was an appointment that should never have been made, so they were right werent they?

Or are you saying any manager would have led us to this point?

As an aside you see us being more likely to be relegated than not, now?
The club was destabilised by fans once the poor run of results started. There was absolutely no patience to get through a poor spell and the players were vilified rather than backed and encouraged to get through it.

Let's not rewrite history.

Find it amusing when certain posters call out the homogenous mass that is “the fans” for not wanting an obviously awful fit for manager at the club, whilst these same posters every single year on this forum wish for us to lose certain games because it might work against our city neighbours.

Stopping Liverpool winning a title? There's no Everton fan I know who'd want to be in a position at the end of a season where we did f.a. as per usual other than look on as Liverpool won a title by a point or so after Everton had taken points off City.

(The upcoming City game doesn't fall into that bracket, of course, as the title race is already over.)

When they boo everton straight into league one they'll still be blaming Benitez still.

Some of us would rather Everton Win all games and arent assed about what our illustrious murdering neighbours are up to!

He was being hounded out by many BEFORE the start of the season...THAT's a fact.
No Dave, don't try to use Benitez as a yard stick. You are well aware that he came to the club carrying baggage which no other manager has ever done. Lampard is a totally different kettle of fish and well you know it.

You can twist and turn all you like to try and justify your point, but, it is just you being you as usual. I find your posts amusing, but, it is difficult to take most of them seriously.

Be honest, the reason behind most of your posts is just to provoke a reaction.

But you wanted us to lose to Chelsea who are going to be nowhere near Liverpool as it happens.

But we cant do that, so seeing Liverpool denied silverware is essential.

We play City this month. If they drop points it will help the reds, but we need a result ourselves. They are completely irrelevant to us when we are 2 points ahead of the relegation zone. They will probably beat us anyway, but I will fume a lot if I see any posts saying it's better for City to beat us.
