I'd say you can count on Mina being sold at least.

That injury will have put to bed any talk of a contract.

A few big earners are off the books come the summer - if we can offload Mina and someone unexpected for a good fee like Holgate or Iwobi we could maybe/hopefully/possibly bring in 2-3 to boost the first team.

Im hoping come the AGM we announce a Naming Rights deal for the stadium build from Usmanov to hopefully boost the accounts.

They were alright but I didn't see anything like what I saw from this match and Brentford.

You've got to say you'd rather be watching a Lampard Everton team than Benitez' one sitting back trying to nick one on the counter.

Wouldn’t take much to go back through the match threads after Southampton Burnley Brighton etc. it was all about how we’d never looked so mobile upfront, how the front four were all clicking, how we’d come from behind more times in a few games than any other time.

We thought we were winning the league under Ancelotti after a few games.

We looked very mobile aggressive and solid under Koeman after a few games.

You can keep pushing how much better everything is than when Benitez was here, but we’ve seen numerous false dawns with these players. If they’re doing this (or better) in 12 months then I’ll know the corner has been turned, if we’re in a relegation battle in November next season though then we’ll be looking back going ‘remember how good the Brentford and Leeds games were’

Well there's one big earner definitely off the books this summer, plus Tosun and Delph are getting the boot too.

That's a good bit of wages freed up.

The coming from behind was always the worry.

Our first clean sheet in months, two out of 3 matches with us outscoring the opposition by 3 goals. It looks a lot better to me than those games at the beginning of the season and I'm hopeful it will only get better.

The difference in the quality of our footy is astounding. I'd much rather watch us go for it than the Paelladyce tactics we had before.

Benitez’s first three games were decent as well weren’t they?

I’ve said a thousand times, there’s no point judging managers over short periods of time with this squad. I said they’d play up for a new manager because they’ll all be eyeing the summer window now and wanting to stay. The acid test for me has always been 12 months. If Lampard can keep us on an upwards trajectory at the start of next season and get to the Jan transfer window in good shape then that is what everyone wants, no one more than me, we have to have managerial stability. We all thought the starts under Koeman Allardyce Silva Ancelotti and Benitez were good as well though.

Very positive signs though.
Can't you watch the game and see clear improvements already though? Benitez's style of play is in no way comparable to Lampard and he had no longevity. I think players will enjoy playing for Lampard + he will get the best out of players unlike FSW. We've seen areas of improvement already and he needs time to build on it.
