I don't doubt Frank's approach or choices at all. He has seen how it's done for two decades.... He has seen what works and what didn't.

Thing is, two CL winning managers can't be wrong. The squad let us down against Newcastle. No structure, no fight, no system.

This squad is done and I know they will disappoint our manager again (and get him the sack) if there is no major investment next summer. Even if we go on a 10 game winning streak or win the fa cup, we can't afford not to reinvest next season.

If he gets us safe he should be able to get his players in. Only then we can judge.

I think every manager should be given time. I was willing to give Benitez time. He had to go in the end though. No manager is surviving that run here. Never mind somebody as divisive as Benitez.

Hopefully Frank will at least see his contract out here.

Got no idea why this popped into my head earlier. But anyone know if he has bought his family up here? I know his wife was at the game the other day, and no idea what their children status is, just a musing really.

I like him; not as much as his wife likes him but you know what I mean.

Hope so. He has been a total waste for what the club have invested. Be good if he started paying back and if he does fair do’s because we need all hands on deck for the rest of the season and beyond

Exactly…bit of a mystery and he would not be the first to have loads of ability, in training, which does not transfer to a competitive game when it really matters. But he was significantly better yesterday so maybe there is hope

Frank's tactics are outdated???? lol was he a fugitive from justice for the past six months? too busy evading the authorities to be aware of the last manager and his primitive tactics?

One thing Lampard has over Silva, Koeman, Allardyce, Ancelotti, and Benitez, is that he genuinely looks happy to be here. Martinez was, but His style wasn't suited to Goodison. Whereas Lampard seems to get it. Not since Moyes has it been like that.
