Benitez more or less played every away game with us playing deep and trying to counter attack to my recollection.

Could literally play no one and they’d be better than today.

But I think Godfrey is out and there’s no way you can throw 3 hugely inexperienced Premier League players into a very fragile side.

Don’t know why he didn’t set us up in the same way he did against city. Allowed them the ball in their half and looked to break quickly when we won the ball back. High press with these players and this defence against Kane and Son was just inviting trouble. Worryingly naive, although in his defence he probably thought Keane and Coleman would not play like they’ve never stepped foot on a football pitch before.

Unfortunately even despite how abysmal Coleman has been, I fear with his status in the club that he's untouchable
