We rolled the die, alright. And we got a "1".Guardiola would be sectioned if he had this lot.
There's no one now other than Lampard and this lot he manages.
This is it. The final roll of the dice.
You have no idea whether that's true or not. Even if it was true, it's still down to the board to make the best decisions for the club, that's their job, not ours. The club were going to hire Pereira, and then changed course because of the graffiti on the wall and the fan protests.
So when people are saying we should have hired x instead, we haven’t got a leg to stand on because Lampard was the fans choice.
My position has been clear that the manager is almost irrelevant because these players and the club infrastructure that sits behind them are an utter disgrace.
That’s why I suggested, in the match thread, that he needs to round them up in training, ask who’s up for the fight and bin off those that aren’t and play the U23 lads who’ll have nothing to lose and would show a bit of fight
Don't think any manager would cope with that defence. Coleman, Kenny, Holgate especially are useless now and today we had Godfrey and Holgate as CBs that cannot beat a man in the air. Recipe for disasterBig Sam would have gotten at least a point today. 10 men behind a ball and had the players defending for their lives.
we really should be picking the call and begging him to come back. We can’t continue with an inexperienced experiment.
I can imagine there’ll have been a few. God I wish we could just gut the whole club save for Lampard and his teamI reckon he probably already has done that and they’ve all fell out with him and downed tools.
We've been around those issues again and again . El fraudo came in with almost identical squad that got 59 points last year. Hes large and largely to blameWe’ve been papering over the cracks for years. I’ve said it loads of times. I was amazed we didn’t go down in 17/18 because we were the worst team in the league then by a mile. Basically Gueye and Rooney kept us up and Allardyce being pragmatic.
If you want to blame someone for this mess, blame Koeman. Sold all our top players, brought in horrific ones on 100k a week contracts which meant we’ve been in an FFP hole ever since. Then we’ve just compounded it by buying crap ever since as a short term fix.
Really hope Chris Wood isn't reading this post.Don't think any manager would cope with that defence. Coleman, Kenny, Holgate especially are useless now and today we had Godfrey and Holgate as CBs that cannot beat a man in the air. Recipe for disaster
Agree. Koeman started this mess. Buying 3 number 10 in a couple of months and moshiri oking it ,was something the young lad might try if given a budget on fifa 22.We’ve been papering over the cracks for years. Exactly. For 90mins no passion no effort no teamwork, any closing down is just a half [Poor language removed] individual effort while the rest just ball watch hoping someone else will do the dirty job instead. We’re gone. Even the level of fight we had agaisnt Arsenal and Chelsea over Christmas isn’t even there.
These players just are not interested in working hard for Everton. We’re gone.
Are you taking the absolute mick with that line?So many mistakes over a long period of time will eventually have consequences. Money can not save incompetence forever. We just make the same stupid mistakes over and over again. The latest is Frank Lampard, and a half-fat and half-motivated spurs player.
We should never have fired Benitez, completely ridiculous that he was hired in the first place, but it is obvious that he had addressed a culture in the club that he tried to clean up. Instead of giving one of the better managers for the last 30 years confidence and opportunity, then we hire a rather unqualified manager in Lampard.
