This hopefully might differentiate him from Benitez. Benitez kept trusting the same rotten bunch even though he seemed to have grasped that they were the problem.
Lampard is in the same conundrum. If he keeps trusting Coleman Keane Holgate Kenny they’ll have him relegated and out of a job.
Time to be bold and start playing Patterson Mykolenko and Branthwaite in the back line. They cannot be worse.

Least they have a chance to improve.
The current back 4 won’t get any better no matter how many chances we give them. I’d rather incur the errors at least developing Patterson Branthwaite and Mykolenko than watching Keane and Coleman do them every game.

An interesting fortnight ahead for Frank now. Then two absolutely critical matches away at West Ham and Burnley. If we don't see a proper reaction at West Ham, then one wonders if we will see one at all. Now that 4-0 hammerings at Crystal Palace have been normalised, I find myself reminding myself that West Ham and Burnley are clubs we tradionally tower over and dominate. Yet, here we are shivering at the prospect of facing them (all the while knowing we still have to play many of the truly big clubs of this league - you know, the clubs that used to be our peers). What a pathetic decline.

I remember going to Upton Park in 07/08 under Moyes for a cup league double header. We went one down in the first game against the run of play and every player on both teams knew we’d still win. We ended up beating them both times.
We’re so so far away from that now it’s unbelievable. The managed decline of the club has been criminal.

You might need to just accept the fact that Frank doesn't rate these players hence they are not playing, he didn't buy them did he. As a few others have said if we can hold face till the summer I'm all for letting any one of them go for whatever we can get for them and let Frank do his own thing. No point in a scenario where Lampard goes and the same faces will do the same to yet another manager again next season.
