Allan is out Wednesday, but back Saturday

I don't have a problem going for Branthwaite, but he's not ready. People are overhyping him a lot.
Don't get me wrong I'm not necessarily cheerleading him here as a regular, but needs must. None of our available centre backs for Burnley are what you'd describe as seasoned or reliable pros. Godfrey is relatively inexperienced in centreback terms, Branthwaite really is still learning his craft, and Holgate has most miles under his belt- but I think we'd all agree he's not one we want organising. Not that Keane is particularly inspirational either. Bad place to be.

He didn’t sign either of them, he only signed for the club himself of deadline day. He had absolutely no say in any business we did in January.
He absolutely had influence in signing Dele . Player and manager have said it .
Reports also say he wanted van der beek.
He was formally announced as manager on deadline day but it was done a couple of days before.

I don't read much into comments. He was never going to come out and say he didn't really want a player who we signed.

I personally find it pretty hard to believe he was heavily involved in transfers.

To think it wasn't him that wanted Dele is ridiculous been honest . I'm not knocking him..but he was his choice..no question about it.

How's there no question? No one knows for sure. All we know is that we appointed the manager on deadline day.

My opinion is that his input was probably minimal because transfers take a lot of time and planning, especially for high profile players like Alli. We also signed players a couple of days before sacking a manager. I really don't think the manager has much say in transfers at this club.

Wasn't there a video clip of him greeting Dele and him sayin " we done it ".
He's a Frank signing. Nothing will convince me otherwise.

Onyango has been out injured for a while, so that's not true

Mykolenko struggled a lot when he joined. He's only now starting to show a bit more.

Patterson should have got more chances

Branthwaite is nowhere near ready, let's no overhype him too soon as per usual. He struggled really badly at Newcastle, and his passing against Boreham Wood was a big concern.

And yes... we have Mason Mount, Reece James and Trevor Chalobah in our youth team. What is Frank doing ignoring them all???

I will point blank refuse to enter any debate where the opponent puts forward an argument that Branthwaite and Mykolenko are worse options than Kenny at left back and Keane at centre back.

And the point you in aren't seeing is that he made his reputation based on trusting promising youngsters, yet refuses to call on our own promising youngsters while keeping blind faith with the same old seniors who are going to relegate us.

To say Myolenko, Branthwaite and Patterson are inferior options compared to Kenny, Keane and Coleman...

...is very peculiar indeed.
