2021/22 Frank Lampard

Frank Lampard has come into this job trying to get a tune out of a rabble that have under performed for years under god knows how many managers and is struggling like all the others. The players have been to blame for years but they have got away with it as the manager always carries the can. I reckon even Pep Guardiola and Klopp combined couldn't do anything with this lot. We also have a small squad that has a continual injury crisis and now we can't keep 11 of them on the pitch for a full game.
There's no point in sacking him if we lose tonight and/or go down because who are we going to get plus when are we going to give a manager a chance to build his own team? A clear out is needed in the summer and hopefully he can assemble a young and hungry group of players that can be coached and want to be successful and then give us some exciting football to watch.

You mean the two rats who downed tools, one last season to go play on his jet and the other who was crud for the last 18 months anyway?
Digne - Its hard to be crud when you dont get selected and I think the previous year he played 36 games for us all told and wasn't playing badly. His Game really suffered becasue of the managers defence first approach.
James - Said profusely he wanted to stay - also frozen out by the manager at season start. If you don't play, you cant be playing badly. Benitez wanted him gone...anywhere. di you think that was because of his skill level -think on it, I know the knee jerk keyboard reaction is easier.

You could of just said yes those two, no need to write all that.

Zero chance of Lampard leaving before the end of the season in my opinion and even if we go down, unless he walks away, I doubt he’ll be going anywhere and will be given the chance of another season at least.

Hopefully that won’t happen but I’m still backing him completely.
This should be everyone’s opinion. We can’t keep bringing managers in and getting rid of them after a bad spell. This club needs some consistency. Give frank some time

Einstein's definition of insanity comes to mind.

Keep on doing the same thing even though it always fails.

Sacking another manager because of these Muppets would be insanity. The problem is those on the pitch.

Would be interested to see if the same ones calling for Lampard out now where the ones protesting against Periera and calling for Lampard to get the job back in January. The board had picked Periera and done a U-turn and went with Lampard on the basis of what the fans wanted. We made our bed. Back him.

I think Periera would have been a nightmare.

I really hope Lampard succeeds, I genuinely think with a good transfer window under his belt we will be heading in the right direction

I see Frank was moaning about the schedule. While he has a point, what's the point in moaning? More negativity.

We're a long way from "enjoy the football" now.

You'd think that after the way some carried on in favour of appointing him, they'd have to back him until at least the end of the season.

I wouldn't rule anything out, though.
