Not really, Townsend has been valuable for us this season, im sure he has won us points by himself with goals and assists, and since Rondon is the man we are currently pinning our hopes on to save us happy days. Willing to bet combined they costs us less then James picking and choosing when he can be bothered

I agree, we never should of gone near him but again that is another example of how stupid Moshiri is.
The list of his mistakes that are leading us to relegation is growing.

I think townsend was the surp[rise package success story of the firt half of the season. He certainly benefited from Benitez' management and seems to have gone off the boil between Benitez' depearture and his injury. I hope he comes back in and starts next season as brightly as this. He is a creative player with goals, assists and workrate. A keeper.

Defo, I like him, how many of us were gutted when he got Injured? That shows how valued he is
