Don’t blame him for the squad.

I do blame him for the lack of any clear footballing direction since he arrived. I blame him for the constant changes. I blame him for picking crabs like kenny, holgate and Keane who are all proven liabilities.

Never been so upset or raging at this club, we are so close to going and it’s a disgrace.

We can't keep sacking managers.
It's not his fault we're in the mess.

But when do you say 'hang on, this isnt working' and roll the dice?

9 games to go. We need 10 points.
We need a new manager. The current guy has failed. Are we panicking? You bet. But if you can't panic after losing 3 goals to a side who haven't scored in five, then when can you?

We know it isn't Lampard's fault. But he's not arresting the slide. It's worse than ever. We have to gamble. Yes, we're a laughing stock, but there's not even a shred of dignity left to lose now. Gamble, desperately. Anybody but Lampard now.

When he took over the situation already looked dangerous. It was a very dodgy decision to appoint someone with no experience in a relegation battle. His last 2 games have been OK and perhaps unlucky to lose both. But he wasted games against Newcastle away and Southampton away. He tinkered too much and now we look doomed. Wrong manager at the wrong time.

The situation now looks awful. Even if someone with relegation pedigree comes in, they can't sign anyone. It's a dreadful position we are now in.

So I’m probably in no position to comment as I haven’t actually watched a single game this season but from a relatively outside perspective appointing Lampard seems like a pretty mental move considering how bad the team were.

I understand there weren’t many options at the time though.
An often repeated myth.

There were countless options but Everton seem intent on only appointing managers based on how much coverage their name has had in Premier League news stories. The fact they have absolutely nothing on their CV is irrelevant to them - it's all about how many times they've seen a big picture of them on the back of a newspaper.

What is getting rid of lampard now actually going to change? We have been terrible under 3 managers this season.

Sacking lampard now would simply make us even more a joke

I have no idea about that mate, I assumed it was the only reason they appointed a pundit

Flogging a great left back in digne, replacing him with untested players and expecting a different outcome is bonkers. Sack him now and get someone in to drill the players properly. From what I've heard no one understands the system he wants to play. Nows not the time for experiments. Another game without a goal from open play. Just clueless
