If Lampard has to take any blame it is simply how we set up and our approach to a game

The defence needs to drop deeper, and simply clear the lines
The Approach should be simply win the ball and get it into space for runners
The mentality should be simply don’t lose the point we start the game with

Not just on Lampard though, but not helping the situation

TBH, the way I feel right now (and having said that if we fired another manager now we'd defo write our own death warrant), if the board sacked him I wouldn't be arsed. I am now in the @GrandOldTeam camp of a last throw of the dice. I'm absolutely desolate. A collapse like that from a winning position and against a terrible team has floored me. I think I know it wont make any difference, but we cant just tamely walk into the Championship.

It's not about Martinez, Moyes, Ancelotti, Benitez, Lampard - it's about Everton FC.

What is getting rid of lampard now actually going to change? We have been terrible under 3 managers this season.

Sacking lampard now would simply make us even more a joke
Lampard is taking us down.

His record as a championship manager is not convincing.

If we are going down anyway, get a new manager in, let him have time to get his feet under the table. Effectively start preseason now.

I don't blame him for tonight.

Burnley 2nd goal. DCL gets bullied in the touchline. Winger shows Kenny exactly his level. If Coleman is ill/recovering, we had no option.

3rd goal. Ffs. Kenny shoots, blocked, way out of position. Pickford (inexplicably) spoons the clearance out. Godfrey then takes his eye off the ball.

Suicidal.

There's 3 defenders drawn towards Taylor yet still let him cross it for the 2nd. It's weak, zero aggression in each phase.

And yeah, the 3rd is pure lack of composure.

A mistake to a goal, I can just point at the player. Multiple mistakes in different parts of the play more than once is why we're down.

Agreed. But he’s now got the lowest win % of any Everton manager who’s managed at least 10 games.

With 9 left, I don’t see too many more wins for the rest of the season.

Don't forget them starting that last goal with a short throw and Doucoure jsut walking to close down.

Started with the ego trip of Farhad thinking he knows a damn thing about football and meddling in everything.

Good coaches don't allow that to happen.
