No point in shying away from it, it's been a terrible appointment so far. Us being in this position wasn't inevitable.

Things can turn round but I don't think it's likely. The players don't look any better than they did under Benitez.

Its probably too late. The mistake was hiring Lampard. This season is done. Now need to recruit a manager capable of getting us back up next season.

benitez should have gone much earlier as well to allow the new man to make January signings.

Sadly out of his depth, naive to keep doing the same things and expecting different results. The problems run deeper than Frank but for us to expect a manager with his experience to turn us in to world beaters is naivety on our part.

He needed to go back to basics, and if needs be win ugly be difficult to beat and physical, might not have been pretty but would have kept us up.

Right now we are so soft at the back, and I don't see him fixing that.

TBH, the way I feel right now (and having said that if we fired another manager now we'd defo write our own death warrant), if the board sacked him I wouldn't be arsed. I am now in the @GrandOldTeam camp of a last throw of the dice. I'm absolutely desolate. A collapse like that from a winning position and against a terrible team has floored me. I think I know it wont make any difference, but we cant just tamely walk into the Championship.

It's not about Martinez, Moyes, Ancelotti, Benitez, Lampard - it's about Everton FC.

I think he'll get the United game but the board will act if it doesn't end in 3 points. I just know they will.

This isn't Norwich, we cant just accept matters like this and prepare for the Championship.

It'd be a a slim chance to turn this around, but it has to be taken.

I know how flakey all this sounds, but FFS it's the club and my loyalty is to that not the man in the dugout. He just hasn't played defensively savvy enough.

Personally think he's the English Bobby Brown Shoes - struggles to set up a defence.

The team is crap though so not all his fault.
