No but he doesn't play Coleman or Keane to death
Well Pereira always plays a back three so I think you'd fine he probably would play Keane given Mina's injury record - and btw, I've said Keane needed to be dropped. He didn't play today and we lost, though.

Coleman shouldn't have played as much yet if he comes on the pitch tonight - which if he's on the bench then he should have been fit enough to do 15 minutes - we maybe hold on for a point because JJK is half at fault for their 3rd goal. I can criticise Lampard for that but I can't blindly say that Pereira, who would have been as much as a gamble, would have done better. Because Everton left it far, far too late in the day.

Just more mismanagement by the club, makes me sick to my stomach

@BlueToff no point in a stupid back and forth tbh

It was just so obvious that Lampard wasn't the right appointment
It was very obvious that Benitez wasn't. I'm not so sure on Lampard. It didn't look that way after 3 games.

He's taken 6 points from 27 on offer. It's awful. We've got another 27 to play for and need 12 points I think. I don't know if we'll get them, it's horrific.

But Benitez took 5 from 46 which is what put us in this position and if they'd have sacked him earlier then we'd have been fine, whoever was appointed, because the list of managers would be better and they'd have had January to build a bit.

I agree on Benitez, honestly in the summer I thought we should have got Nuno but that turned out bad as he was spuds 100th choice manager

For me it was obvious, other than being a world class footballer, Lampard has done nothing of note in management, might aswell of brought in Seth Rogan if we wanted a big name

After 9 games he's had the poorest start to management than any other manager at our club but I still do not think it's down to him, we've bought players without finding out what they are like as people. They are bottlers. That said, Deli Alli was more of the same.

Everton weren't in a position to appoint a good manager, because they left it far too late.

If the trigger is pulled then I’d give it to Joe Royle for 8/9 games. He may have the experience and man management skills to scrape this bunch of wasters over the line.
Seriously!!

I saw him last week in person and he could hardly stand up. He’s old now, leave the bloke alone

I think he's alright, he's been let down by some of the worst players we've ever had - fighting with one hand behind his back at times

HOWEVER, he does make some baffling decisions when it comes to game management. We could all see there for the last 25 minutes that Holgate had to come off because of the yellow and the game was stretched. Alright, Delph is Delph, but change something at the very least - give the kid Price a go if nothing else.
This, C.

His subs/non-subs are crap and contributed to us losing the game and I have to ask what is his array of coaching staff doing if not offering advice here? Why is Edwards the only one who gets up? We have about 73 of them ffs.

That needs to change. Because tonight leaving Kenny on and Holgate, so we couldn't get a foot on the ball in midfield, contributed to us losing.

I was more in favour of Pereira at the time, but he was hardly a sure thing.

It was always going to be a gamble either way. The club has been set up to fail.
