This, C.

His subs/non-subs are crap and contributed to us losing the game and I have to ask what is his array of coaching staff doing if not offering advice here? Why is Edwards the only one who gets up? We have about 73 of them ffs.

That needs to change. Because tonight leaving Kenny on and Holgate, so we couldn't get a foot on the ball in midfield, contributed to us losing.

I believe he'll do alright if we stay up and he's allowed to rebuild, but I don't think we will so whats the point

Same with every manager we’ve had- he lacks a real plan B. Not sure we should leave ourselves so open to the likes of Burnley. Maybe he is trying to instill his ideology for next season, but that’s a tad dodgy when we are fighting relegation.

Why on earth should we worry about being open against Burnley...

This defence deserves no excuse, when we play deep at the weekend against united and concede because they are all garbage maybe people will realise there is no tactical setup that suits this defence.

I blame the previous managers and DOFs for their refusal to have an overhaul. All those excuses about how hard it is to move players. They were total crap and they've left us facing near certain relegation.

Most of these should feel mortified to take home a wage this week. They aren't doing their job and they don't deserve to stay at this club. They've completely broken me. I dont think I can put myself through more of this.
I think the issue is the DOF model is crap. Moyes did better because he managed like a proper British manager and he was good at it. I guess the issue is managers capable of the role are few and far between.

Not for nothing but good they not sack the FSW on about Jan 10th? We had, at LEAST, 2 weeks to bring someone in. And we still waited until deadline day to bring in Frank.
We sacked him on 16th iirc. Yes, they wasted the entire international break and 10 days of the window after the villa game

Yeah this is it.

And as much as I don’t want another manager to go, I’m sorry, but if he couldn’t keep us up after 18 games then is he the one to get a much, much weaker - and god that’s saying something - team back up next season?

So we sack another manager then give another 20 games to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. I’m done, Then the same players get another chance to rid themselves of another manager and the whole process starts again. If we can get Yerry back for the last half a dozen games with a bit of luck I think we can stay up. Then Frank can sell whoever he wants and we have a complete rebuild of this team/club. Get rid of 2/3rd of the squad for me. Get some young emerging talent promote some youth, hunger and legs to burn and a experienced Centre half to gel things who actually can talk and organise the back line. Keane should be that leader but if he can’t rally and organise a team at his age get rid.

Don't want it to happen but I believe possibly Lampard is gonna get sacked. I think Moshiri will look at results like Burnley tonight and think let's pull the trigger with games like Brentford, Palace, Leicester and Watford still to play and us only needing probably 3 wins to stay up, it seems likely to me.

Hopefully not as even if we do go down I'd like Lampard to remain in charge as he has a good backroom team and wants to play a certain style.

When you’re fighting relegation you need a manager in the mould of Big Sam, someone who will hold onto a lead. But Moshiri sacked him for finishing 8th at the behest of us fans!

Having said that, Frank hasn’t made any really glaring errors.
Our heads go down when we’re playing away. That’s the bottom line. Carragher said last week that our players are psychologically weak and that they need to have the backing of the crowd to play well. That makes sense because we do play well at home under Frank and we’re dire away from home. We won our last home match and even when we’ve lost home matches under Frank we’ve given a good account of ourselves. When we lost to the champions last month we deserved a point and in fact we were robbed of a point.

I was reading earlier that between late September and late January we attained just 6 points. 6 points in four months! That’s when the damage was done, particularly in terms of the psychological deterioration of our players.

Let’s hope for a bear pit atmosphere on Saturday at Goodison against the Mancs. Win that and one or two others between now and the end of the season and we’ll likely stay up.
