There's no excellent record that Frank has. You should stop listening to his mates in the media who go on about how he's made of the right stuff. How many Chelsea players have to come out and tell you guys the guy us tactically inept? If there was ever a time to panic is right now, as you say relegation with our time of wage bill would be catastrophic.

Those Chelsea players will be saying the same about Tuchel at the moment

It wasn't individual mistakes that cost us last night. It was Frank's inability to set a team up that allowed us to take the game to Burnley who had lost 4 on the spin without scoring . We started slow, again, conceded another awful set piece goal b/c of the set up. He insists on playing Kenny who is w@nk, he's got no plan for how to make Richy and DCL play together, Duc's doesn't know whether to sit or go forward, and he takes off Gordon FFS who was dangerous all game.

I honestly can't understand the flack Frank is getting doesn't matter who coaches this lot nothing would change not Frank's fault Richarlison misses a sitter at 2-1 or his fault Kenny getting roasted by Taylor for the second goal not his fault Godfrey slashes the at the ball for the 3rd I could go on Frank not perfect and has made mistakes but he's not the reason why we are in this mess

Its just the thing of it that yeah the players the the major part of this. But Frank was a gamble. 6th with derby on championship couldn't get passed first knockout stage and bombed at Chelsea. That's his the cv what warrants him an Everton FC manager role. He is living off his name as a footballer and that alone. Wouldn't have got the Chelsea job if he wasn't an x legend and even then people were saying its a major gamble for a side like Chelsea. Failed there and still on the fumes of being Frank Lampard got the job here.

Not saying he isn't good enough. But we certainly don't know if he is. He's on the same page as if you got the managers job.

What are we going to do let him toil away in the championship for few years till we figure out if he's an actual manager

Yup. People are still fighting the last battle, one that is long since over. It's post traumatic stress disorder.

Lampard should be punted this morning and ANYBODY should be parachuted in as a last roll of the dice. We know that Lampard cannot get these useless players to save themselves, so we have nothing to lose by trying somebody else in the faint hope something or somebody different might spark some vague reaction.

In my view, we are already down. The players had the chance to save themselves and couldn't even do that. Lampard's thinking hasn't improved a dire situation. He was brought in to improve things, and he has essentially failed. His new signings have failed. We can accept our demise quietly, or we can try to fight it. Give Big Sam a million quid for nine games. It'd be hilarious if nothing else.

Naive yes. But the squad is incapable of playing any brand of football apart from possibly parking a bus (and even then, that's tricky).

We're a basket case club from top to bottom. Happened at Villa and Newcastle. We're the next one's.

Not directly his fault but the nature of football means a lot of the burden will fall on him. If someone had told you we'd be in this position after appointing Lampard, no one would've wanted him here.

Even since he got the job a few of the performances have shown it is possible to get something out of this squad of players. He just hasn't been capable of doing it on any sort of consistent basis.

Decided from day 1 that Kenny was a competent full back, even shoehorning him out of position at left back in his desperation to see him stay in the team, when we have (injured now obviously) a talented new signing who has been ripping it up for his country on the world stage? Should be sacked for that alone. Criminal.
