AmazingNever the man for the job.
Look at Derby forums when he left. Look at Chelsea forums when he were sacked. Mistakes leading to goals has been a running theme in every Lampard team.
At this point, I would rather have someone like Unsworth come in and at least bring the passion back for the club. Right now we're dead and buried.
Yes, wolves, Newcastle,But mate, Benitez did try the 'hard to beat' style and look how not hard to beat we were...
I think Lampard got it badly wrong v Spurs for example but in every league game since he's gone more conservative yet individual blunders have cost us points.
Unsworth shouldn’t even be at the club any more or big Dunc. This is the whole problem.Never the man for the job.

They're premier league footballers. They're not been told to play like Man City. They make simple errors. Look at this:
Dom half arsed.
Gordon half arsed
Kenny skinned.
Then...Gordon or Dom don't run back, Doucoure does having been yards forward than both.
Next phase Branthwaite, Holgate, and Godfrey all crowd round Collins without any intensity allowing him to poke a ball through 3 players.
You can't coach that as it's the basics. Engage the ball, win or fight your own battles.
The same happened for the 3rd goal.

Doucoure doesn't engage the thrower. Godfrey has an age to even stop and control that ball. He panics. Slices.
You can't fix that on the training ground

If it's true, then maybe a bit of blowback from him calling them all cowards after the Palace gameI'm sure if it's true.........the press will go to print (or already should have done) and it wouldn't be difficult to weed out who these senior players are.
Yesterday was two horrendous mistakes away from being a fine performance for where we are. Burnley did nothing to test us. Pickford had one save to make in the 2nd half yet we've gifted them two goals.Yes, wolves, Newcastle,
West Ham and Burnley all close games.
Gutted we only got 3
Points. Especially the last 2 think we should have had 4 from them 2.
When you factor in injuries, red cards which means basically 3/4 changes every game, we haven’t done to bad. Is just stupid errors costing us and not being clinical enough. Missed a great chance v wolves at 0-0 and lose from a set piece. West ham again gifting goals and last night to.
It’s not over yet, but we need to win one of the next 2. And then try and have a bit of luck with a settled side. And we may still just get out of it.
I doubt it is.If it's true, then maybe a bit of blowback from him calling them all cowards after the Palace game
But when that was going on under Benitez it was all his fault and he wasn't coaching the defence so what's changed?
You cant blame the manager then when a new manager comes in blame the players when said new manager hasn't improved on anything.
I agree the players take the lion share of the blame and have done for me all season - but at this stage of the game we need to grind out points and when you have Mason Holgate in CM and Kenny at RB playing on the front foot away from home isn't the wisest thing to be doing.
I thought he should have taken Iwobi off for Delph at 2-2 and taken control of the midfield and kept the point / hit them on the break with Gray and Richarlison for a winner.
DCL should have been hooked also for Rondon.

Yeah I think they deserved being called out mate.I doubt it is.
But if it is, then the players don't have a leg to stand on.

But we just have too many error prone players. We have 4-5 players on the pitch who have a code red mistake in them every game, some of them more than one.
Imagine Ronaldo in the air against our defenders? Yikes.
